- 9/20/09 - Thank you everybody for making the fire inspections go smoothly on September 12th. There are 15 units that were not able to complete the inspection. If you have not had your inspection, please contact Chantelle at (425) 897-3400 to get information on what to do next.
- 8/3/09 - Please be advised that the King County Inspector has required us to close the pool due to a chemical imbalance. This imbalance was caused by trash being stuck in the pool’s filter and blocking the water from getting to the pool pump. The chemicals are being worked on by the Pool Maintenance Company and when the sign comes off, please feel free to utilize the pool. Trash at the pool needs to be placed in the provided garbage receptacle or taken with you when you leave the pool area. Violating homeowners and/or their guests will be fined and assessed charges for fixing the pool (if the pool pump breaks, its an easy $5,000 bill).
- 7/4/09 - ***ALERT*** This morning between midnight and 1 p.m. the power went out in the L building. PSE was called to report the outage. PSE came out around 2 a.m. They determined that the power lines going from the transformer box by the L building were bad. Unfortunately for us, the power lines are OUR responsibility. Then CDC dispatched an electrical company to come and assess and fix the situation. The power lines run underground to the L building, so they may need to bring in a backhoe to dig it up. (If any rental place is open today). In the meantime around 4 a.m., PSE also determined that there were problems with that tranformer box, which is PSE’s responsibility. So, they are fixing that now. The L building will be out of power until this is all fixed. The J and K buildings will be out of power while the transformer is being fixed (about 2-3 hours).
- 6/23/09 - Dumpsters marked recycling are NOT for regular trash. If regular trash is put into the recycling dumpsters, Hillwood is charged by the waste company and those charges come out of our operating account. Homeowner’s caught putting garbage into recycling will be subject to a $50 fine assessed to your HOA dues.
- 6/22/09 - Recently, there have been car break-ins and theft at Hillwood. Please remember to keep your car doors locked and valuables out of sight or out of your car. Please be vigilant too - if you see any suspicious looking individuals, do not hesitate to call 9-1-1.
- 6/15/09 - The Hillwood Pool is a common area that is used by all homeowners. Please do not leave trash, leftover food, dirty diapers, or anything else at the pool. What you pack in, you MUST pack out. Violation of Hillwood’s rules regarding this is a $75 fine. Also, please keep in mind that everytime we have to hire someone to clean the pool area, this comes out of our HOA budget and therefore depletes money we could be spending on other things.
- 5/1/09 - Please be advised that the Visitor Parking area is only for visitors with a proper visitor parking permit. Homeowners caught parking there for regular purposes because they don’t have enough parking spaces or anyone caught parking there long term and without a permit will be towed immediately and fined immediately without notice.
